Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • 10+2 Completion: Senior Secondary Exam (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Minimum Marks: 70% aggregate in PCM + 50% in English (Class X/XII).
  • JEE Main 2025 Mandate: Must have appeared for the exam. SSB shortlisting based on All India Rank.

Physical Standards:

  • Height: Minimum 157 cm (correlated weight as per age).
  • Vision: 6/6 or 6/9 corrected vision; no color/night blindness.
  • Tattoos: Permitted only on inner forearms or dorsal hand (exceptions for tribal communities).

Application Process

  1. Portal Access: Visit joinindiannavy.gov.in.
  2. Registration: Click “Register” → Enter basic details (name, mobile, email).
  3. Form Completion: Fill academic details (JEE Main 2025 roll no. mandatory), upload documents:
    • Photograph (white background, 80% face coverage).
    • Signature scan (black ink on white paper).
  4. Review & Submit: Verify all details → Final submission.
  5. Print Confirmation: Retain hard copy for SSB process.

Selection Process

  1. Initial Shortlisting: Based on JEE Main 2025 ranks or Class XII PCM scores (whichever is higher).
  2. SSB Interview:
    • Stage I: Intelligence test, picture perception, group discussion (1 day).
    • Stage II: Psychological tests, group tasks, personal interview (4 days).
  3. Medical Examination: 3-5 days at naval hospitals.
