Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- ITI/NAC/NTC certification from NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades:
- Fitter General: NAC/NTC in Fitter General/Tool & Die Making
- Electrician: NAC/NTC in Electrician/Power Electrician
- Operator MHE: ITI in Crane Operations OR Class 10 + Heavy Vehicle License + 2 years’ experience
- Rigger/Sand Blaster: Class 10 + 2 years’ relevant experience
2. Age Limit (as of July 18, 2025)
- General: 35 years
- OBC: 38 years
- SC/ST: 40 years
- PwBD: Up to 45–50 years (category-based relaxation)
- Ex-Servicemen: Age deduction for service years + 3 extra years
Selection Process
Candidates face a three-stage selection without written exams:
- Shortlisting: Based on ITI marks with preference to:
- Ex-HVF/OFB apprentices
- Higher marks and recent passing year
- Document Verification: Original certificates checked for shortlisted candidates.
- Trade Test: Qualifying practical test (FIT/UNFIT) assessing hands-on skills
