Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS & Havaldar 2025
1. Educational Qualification
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have passed the qualifying exam before August 1, 2025.
2. Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025)
- For MTS & Havaldar (CBN): 18-25 years
- For Havaldar (CBIC): 18-27 years
- Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per government norms

Selection Process
1. For MTS Posts
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Paper I
- Subjects: General English, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General Awareness
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
2. For Havaldar Posts
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Paper I (Same as MTS)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Height: 157.5 cm (Male), 152 cm (Female)
- Chest (Male): 76-81 cm (with 5 cm expansion)
- Physical Test:
- Cycling: 8 km in 30 min (Male), 3 km in 25 min (Female)
- Walking: 1600 m in 15 min (Male), 1 km in 20 min (Female)
